It is
hard to convince a drug
addict to undergo a rehab
program at a treatment
center. Most addicts have no
determination to step into
the sober life again and the
idea of quitting the drug
would simply sound
ridiculous to them. Many
addicts claim to be happy
under the influence of a
particular drug and it is
extremely hard to make them
understand that they are
mistaking moments of
idleness and
irresponsibility for
happiness.
A
treatment program is not
just a physical affair but
also aims to treat the
patient psychologically. It
is not easy to treat a
person who does not want to
get well but rehab centers
also run programs that help
in developing the patient's
will power to quit the drug.
